This is a weird one. The Croppie was driving back to Swindon having visited the circle at Alton Barnes, when he caught sight of what looked like a crop circle close to Broad Hinton. He pulled up over the road, entered the bottom of the field and could see no sign of it. Same at the top … except the tell-tale signs of a small single circle with a standing-tuft centre. Despite being only yards away from the main formation, The Croppie still couldn’t see it and departed feeling somewhat confused and full of hay fever.

Stranger still, it now seems two crop circles appeared in adjacent fields on the same night, the second well hidden. But what of this first skeletal formation? Online critics have noted the presence of an additional ring crossing the concentric circles. It’s curious how the public expect symmetry in crop circles and view anything different as some kind of error. The Croppie appreciates the simplicity and fragility of this circle.
