It’s always interesting to see how the police react to the appearance of a crop circle on a farmer’s land. On 28 May, Wiltshire Constabulary issued this rather half-hearted appeal to tourists and circle makers with regard to the ‘fidget spinner’ crop circle at Alton Barnes:
