The Croppie is saddened to have learned of the death of croppie, researcher and author Michael Glickman. He is reported by ‘Journeys With Soul’ on Facebook to have passed away with his sons at his side. He lived in the Vale of Pewsey, the emotional heart of crop circle country.
A former architect, Glickman visited his first crop circle in 1990 and used his understanding of geometry to deconstruct the most complicated of formations. He rapidly establish himself as a leading member of the Centre for Crop Circle Studies.
Glickman was renown for his uncompromising views on the origin of crop circles, believing them to be a genuine mystery. Indeed, he once stated ‘the delight in the crop circles is in the not knowing’. This perspective would often lead him into conflict with known circle makers, particularly the shamelessly self-publicising Matthew Williams. However, Glickman is best known for his role in the investigation of the 1993 mandala-type formation at Bythorn, Cambridgeshire. Julian Richardson claimed to have been responsible though Glickman issued a strong rebuttal during an extraordinary meeting of the Centre for Crop Circle Studies, questioning Richardson’s understanding of the geometry and mathematical concepts. From time to time Glickman’s outspoken views could also lead him into heartfelt tussles with his fellow cerealogists. This made him a popular writer with a number of circles themed outlets including Swirled News and The Cerealogist.
Whether spiky in his dealings with perceived opponents, or enthusing himself over the geometry hidden within new circles, Glickman truly believed in the mystery of the circles. His perspective will be sorely missed.

In honour of Crop circle legend Michael Glickman I’d like to say a few words.
Michael knew when he stepped into his first formation that he was dealing with something other worldly and from that day forward made it his life’s joy to explore the phenomena we call cropcircles. What made Michael special was his unique ability to impart that Joy to others through deep insight and witty repartee.. What also set Michael apart was his steadfastness and loyalty to the Truth, even if that would have meant holding his hands up and admitting he had been duped for thirty odd years. Fortunately Michael was spot-on with his conviction that Crop circles are indeed other worldly, while other notable researchers inexplicably made u turns with regards to the origin of the Circles, believing the majority were manmade after all.
However, from Michaels new vantage point of being in the light he will have a much clearer view of the CC landscape metaphorically speaking, and with that newly acquired vision will have a new found compassion as to why some of his peers were unable to see what he could so clearly see, which was the Truth in plain sight. The CCs are indeed of Divine origin, coming mainly through the Pleidians and Sirian races of beings. They’re appearing at this time as reminders to awaken to our cosmic heritage and status as Divine Human Beings.. The forces of darkness are well aware that CCs hold keys to higher states of consciousness for humans, and will do anything to stop us interacting with the phenomena. This they most effectively do by disinformation campaigns of assigning all CCs to human ingenuity. History has shown the efficiency of this strategy. “Everyone go home, nothing to see here”. Only there is something to see and Michael was in the minority of researchers who could see with a discerning eye and clarity. As stated earlier, some researchers made dramatic u turns after initially being totally entranced with the phenomena. Because of the important role of CCs in the evolution of mankind’s consciousness, a considerable effort was made to target some of the leading lights in the field of research with remote mind control manipulation. Once again, this has been a very effective way of sewing seeds of disinformation and confusion, and make the general population look away from the miracles magically appearing in the fields. Mind control is the chief reason behind everything we struggle with at present. Oh yes, and a negative extraterrestrial alliance that have designs on our Planet and our annihilation. While most of us are under this influence and subjugation, there are still a few individuals like Michael Glickman who are able to remain above the constant barrage of mind control technologies and be bearers for the light of Truth.
So I salute Michael Glickman for his warmhearted kindness and humour and also for his tremendous forbearance in standing resolute in the face of untruth time and again.
